Toddlers development 35 months

Remember the time when they couldn’t walk without holding a piece of furniture? Well, they’re going to jump and climb all over it now. Your little toddler is growing and crossing milestones every day.

An important thing to keep an eye on is, around this time, toddlers also become very interested in bodies and their genitals. Remember to keep your answers age-appropriate and tell them what’s allowed and what’s not.

At 35 months old, you may find your angel participating in make-believe play, riding on an imaginary plane, or being a superhero that can fly. Encourage them to act out their imagination, because being able to pretend and make-believe is a great cognitive exercise that will help your little one continue to work out what is real and what is just fantasy.
